SIDE MOUNT INSTRUCTOR

We like to congratulate Thomas Heinemeyer ANDI Instr. 8135  with becoming an Advanced Side Mount Instructor within Andi Europe. Thomas has been diving Side Mount for many years already, and it has become more or less a life style for him. Thomas is using Side Mount in different combinations like Side Mount only or combinations Side Mount and Back Mount.

Due to several advantages of the Side Mount technique, it is becoming popular more and more with Cave divers and Wreck divers world wide, but with recreational divers as well.

Side Mount diving is not new, but has been used by Cave Divers already a long time ago. It offers the possibilty to pass through narrow holes more easily, and improves the streamline during swimming as well. But there is much more to tell and explain about this technique.
