Belgian ANDI facility now also running oil free compressor

North Sea Diving in Belgium has removed the oil lubricated compressor and switched to an oil free 300 bar RIX SA6 compressor. The goal was to produce Ultra Pure Breathing gas with the advantage of less cost on filtering and maintainance, and no worries concerning oil contamination of the blending system. The modified RIX compressor can do up to 50% oxygen for safe continuous blending. The complete system has been cleaned after a long period of running the oil lubricated compressor. A fresh start could be made now. The facility is able to produce Ultra Pure Breathing Gas. Gas analysis has been performed by Trace Analytics, using the ANDI analysis pack.
